Amruta Subhash is an award winning Marathi actress known for her performance in Marathi serial “Avaghachi Sansaar” on Zee Marathi where she plays the role of a woman – Asavari who is self reliant and independent girl and after marriage gets tied up in her husbands over-possessive attitude and loses her freedom.

She won the Zee Gaurav award in 2004 for the best actress. Amruta Subhash has also worked in Marathi films such as Devrai, White rainbow and Shwaas – a National award winning film.
